Who we are

Valley Deep Counseling exists to fill a void in Vermilion County. We're here to support your mental health needs and to help you overcome your struggles.

At Valley Deep, we want you to know that you matter.

Whatever you're going through, we can assist.

Have you ever driven through a valley? Some parts can look extravagantly beautiful. Some valleys begin at the tops of mountains, so high and clear. It tends to get darker the further you travel in. Things that were hidden by shadows of mountains and other obstacles slowly come into focus. The lowest part of the valley is the hardest to get to, the hardest to understand, a space not often sought out.

Valley, by definition - a low area of land between hills or mountains, typically with a river or stream flowing through.

This is often how our lives go. Lots of mountains - people and places surrounding us to join in and celebrate and support us.

Lots of valleys - many of us feel we are here alone. Unimaginable things get us here, happen here, and can keep us here.

Deep, by definition - extending far down from the top or surface.

Hence the birth of Valley Deep Counseling.
